O'Hara was a Morestran who served under Controller Salamar, travelling to Zeta Minor in 37166 and tasked with finding Professor Sorenson's expedition.

The crew soon found the expedition's base, and O'Hara was ordered to patrol outside. While the anti-matter creature moved to attack the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, he fired upon it, and it chose to kill him instead, leaving his withered corpse behind, as it did with all its victims.
