So does the term "timeship" actually exist in the DWU, or is it a word that was created for the FPU which we are now '''logically extrapolating''' to cover things like the War Lords' ships and [[79B Aickman Road]]?  In other words, has it been linked to a lot of our articles because people discovered it through autosuggest, or does it actually have a presence in the DWU?

:Actually, i just went ahead and deleted the page and unlinked it throughout the wiki.  If anyone wants to recreate I guess they can, though a better approach is undoubtedly just to use [[space-time vessel]] and [[pipe switch]] it to time ship, if necessary. I've found one use: in ''[[Underworld (TV story)|Underworld]]'', [[Orfe]] identifies the sound of the TARDIS materialising as "relative dimensional stabiliser in materialisation phase ... as used in the time ships of the gods." Both the DVD subtitles and the [[Doctor Who and the Underworld|novelisation]] by Terrance Dicks give the phrase as two words, "time ships", not one as in the Faction Paradox literature. So does the term "timeship" actually exist in the DWU, or is it a word that was created for the FPU which we are now logically extrapolating to cover things like the War Lords' ships and 79B Aickman Road? In other words, has it been linked to a lot of our articles because people discovered it through autosuggest, or does it actually have a presence in the DWU?

Timeships were vessels constructed by active Temporal Powers to travel through time.

They could be ships in the traditional Earth navy sense of the word, physical objects that thrust their way through time and often space. (The Book of the War) Timeships of this type included TARDISes, Dalek time machines and other Time Lord and Dalek vessels, as well as the War Lords' SIDRATs and the ship that crashed on Earth in 2010 and took the form of 79B Aickman Road. (TV: The Chase, The War Games, The Lodger, etc.)

Alternatively, they could be modelled space-time events, either existing by moving through time, or slowly building themselves into the real world through modelling onto the universe. I.M. Foreman's Travelling Show functioned in this manner. (PROSE: Interference - Book Two)

Actually, i just went ahead and deleted the page and unlinked it throughout the wiki. If anyone wants to recreate I guess they can, though a better approach is undoubtedly just to use space-time vessel and pipe switch it to time ship, if necessary. Alternately, since time machine is already a redirect to space-time vessel, I guess I wouldn't be opposed to creating another redirect at time ship, as long as we can establish that the phrase "time ship" or the word "timeship" actually exists in the DWU proper.
