In September 2009, a girl in Taiwan was briefly possessed by the 456 and made to repeat their message in English. She was recorded and posted on the Internet. Torchwood Three took note that, as Mandarin was the most prominent language in the world, it was strange that aliens were choosing to communicate in English. (TV: Children of Earth: Day One)
