Reuben Whormby worked as a keeper of Fang Rock lighthouse alongside Vince Hawkins and the principal keeper, Ben Travers.

After finding out about Ben's death, Reuben went into the boiler room, where he was murdered by a Rutan scout which assumed his form. When the Rutan took his appearance, it killed Lord Palmerdale, James Skinsale, Adelaide Lessage, Harker and Vince Hawkins. (TV: Horror of Fang Rock)
