Mestor is a fictional character, who appeared in "The Twin Dilemma," a four-part story on Doctor Who, which starred Colin Baker as The Doctor. Mestor tried to take over the Planet, Jakondah, but he was stopped by the Sixth Doctor. Mestor Died at the end of Part Four. He was played by Edwin Richfield. }}

The Doctor and Azmael used to be drinking buddies. Azmael dies using up his last life unable to regenerate. The Doctor never likes Hugo Lang. The Doctor destroys Mestor with some dangerous medicines.

The Doctor recognizes Azmael, but Azmael doesn't regognize The Doctor. The Doctor explains that he regenerated twice since their last meeting. The Doctor warns Azmael that he is in big troule, implying that Azmael did something wrong. Azmael dies, unable to regenerate after using all of his lives. The Doctor tells Azmael that he will miss him.

The Twin Dilemma was the first Doctor Who story to feature Colin Baker as The Doctor. it was also the first story since "The Tenth Planet to be broadcast during the same season. When William Hartnell transformed into Patrick Troughton at the conclusion of Episode 4 of "The Tenth Planet," the rest of season 4 was broadcast with Patrick Troughton as The Doctor.
