Final warning to all Users about Doctor Who TV
This is a one and only warning regarding Doctor Who TV.
It cannot be used as a source. The only Doctor Who related sites that can be used are Gallifrey Base (accessible via the news feed on the front page) and the official website.

All casting, filming, rumours must come from media (newspapers etc) and news sites (digital spy) - where everything has a base source. Doctor Who TV uses sources that are 'fans', with nothing to back them up. If they do have a source, please link via the source and not Doctor Who TV. Despite Moffat stating in DWM and other BBC sources stating this, the article continues to treat The Snowmen as a standalone, whereas Moffat, etc have said it was considered a "regular" episode. I'm aware there are rumors that Snowmen might not be in included in the Part 2 DVD/Blu-ray release, but that's beside the point. The episode count should be adjusted accordingly. (And in an earlier thread, now archived, I also questioned whether the 2011 Christmas special, which we now know is not being released or circulated in any way with Series 7 shouldn't be moved to the Series 6 article instead... Is the Mirror really a suitable source? Tabloids print wrong info all the time. The Sun's TV Magazine included the same name in an article, but in light of Asylum of the Daleks, in which Jenna-Louise plays somebody called Oswin Oswald, it seems that Clara Oswin was incorrect. Either they're different characters, or she's not called Clara at all.

Just wondered, since the series has now started airing, should the relevant parts of the article be converted to past tense, e.g. "Series 7 began airing on the 1st of September 2012" rather than "Series 7 will begin airing..."; "Toby Whithouse wrote episode 3" rather than "Whithouse will write..."? Or do we wait for the last episode to air before converting the article?  I'd be happy to do the editing; just wanted to check before rushing in there.
There is another minisode, based during Series 7B.

The Night of the Doctoredit source

Should The Night of the Doctor be considered part of this run or Series 8? Silent Hunter UK 19:28, November 14, 2013 (UTC)

No "doctor2" in this seriesedit source

For those who think that the War Doctor should be added to the infobox in the "doctor2" field, here is an explanation why it must not be done:

The doctor2 variable is only for Doctors who actually had a solo adventure in [the] year. Thus, there is no doctor2 in season 10, season 20, or season 22, but there is one in season 21 and season 4. The doctor2 should be considered the one that has the minority of episodes in the season. So in season 4, doctor2 is the First Doctor.Documentation for the Infobox Series template [Template:Infobox Series [src]]
