Annette Badland (born 26 August 1950[1]) played several parts, both for Doctor Who on television and also several of the Big Finish audios and spin-offs.

Her dramatic training took place at East 15 Acting School, London. She has appeared in many television roles including Bergerac, 2point4 children, Jackanory, The Demon Headmaster, The Worst Witch, The Queen's Nose, Coronation Street and Russell T Davies and Phil Ford-created Wizards vs Aliens. In 2014, she started appearing in long-running BBC soap opera EastEnders as Aunt Babe. She left the role in early 2017.
