| The Cybermen of the other universe made John Lumic, their creator, the Cyber-Controller, albeit against his will. The Controller acted in a similar way to the Mondasian Cyber-Controllers, though unlike them, he remained seated in a chair, connected to it by tubing. He did, however, have full mobility as long as he disconnected the tubing. This Cyber-Controller wasn't much else different from the other Cybermen, except his brain was visible and he had more advanced vision circuits. (DW: The Age of Steel)

| When the Cybermen invaded this universe in 2007, they had designated a new Cyber-Leader, though it was a cyberman with black "handle bars". During the "Battle of Canary Wharf", the Cybermen automaticly upgraded a cyberman to Leader when the previous had been destroyed.(DW: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday)
