Zolfa-Thura was a desert planet in the Prion system, seemingly devoid of life.
Its apparent lifelessness was a result of a war between the Zolfa-Thurans over the Dodecahedron. During the war, nearly all of the Zolfa-Thurans were killed and the planet was turned into a desert. Meglos was the only survivor. He returned the Dodecahedron to Zolfa-Thura from Tigella and planned to use its power to destroy other planets. However, the Fourth Doctor reverted the controls so that the Dodecahedron destroyed Zolfa-Thura instead, (TV: Meglos) the planet vanishing in a roaring ball of fire. (PROSE: Meglos) However another account showed that the planet remained and Meglos had survived. (PROSE: Meglos)
