Kyrol was a planet which the humanised Daleks chose to hide themselves from the "pure" Daleks. The Eighth Doctor once helped the humanised Daleks destroy Kata-Phobus, which would have fed on the Daleks. (COMIC: Children of the Revolution) Bernice Summerfield searched for the Doctor's remains on the planet, but found nothing. (PROSE: The Shape of the Hole) The Time Lords were aware of reports of a potential humanised Dalek presence on Kyrol and, during the Last Great Time War, dispatched operatives to follow up on these reports, as recorded in the Dalek Combat Training Manual. (PROSE: Dalek Combat Training Manual)
