The prof was one of the first timelords to have a laser screwdriver. He orginazed most weapons on gallifrey and fought with the doctor in the time war and died to regenarate into his 6th form. At that last moment of destruction he was able to find a tardis and travel to the 19th century and there he stopped the earth being invaded by the graske. He also traveled to a paralle world and went back in time to created the weapons torchwood used in the doomsday. After that he went to travel with a companion in that paralle universe to the end of eternty.
