Andrew Morgan directed the Doctor Who television stories Time and the Rani and Remembrance of the Daleks. He later made an uncredited cameo appearance as a tourist at Windsor Castle in Silver Nemesis. (DWM 244)

Despite the claims of some that Morgan was barred from directing for Doctor Who after Remembrance of the Daleks as he significantly overspent during the production of the story (DWMSE 10), this is strongly disputed by Richard Bignell due to the lack of evidence or documentation for any such action being taken, the fact that previous overspending directors on the show had later returned to direct further stories, and that Philip Hinchcliffe was unaware of any such policy. [1]

He was interviewed in Toby Hadoke's Who Round 174.

Morgan also directed episodes of Secret Army, Blake's 7, Buccaneer, Triangle, Juliet Bravo, Casualty, EastEnders and Heartbeat. In 1984, he produced the BBC TV series One by One.
