Operation Broken Man was a plan by MI6 to force Yuri Azarov — head of a KGB network in Prague from roughly 1969 to 1989 — to seek asylum at the British embassy in the Czechoslovak capital. The notion was to frame him for selling information such that the new democratic government of Czechoslovakia would be obliged, after taking office, to immediately imprison him. Since he also could not turn to the crumbling Soviet Union for help, his best option would be the British embassy. (COMIC: The Broken Man)
