Kolgarians were a Mutter's Spiral species from the planet Kolgar. They typically had jewels, described by Benny as "costume jewellery", which were priceless, not in wealth, but by being a repository for their emotions and memories.
On the Empress, when Karter tried to steal the jewels of the deceased Kolgarian delegates, Asnarbi and Musjarna, they shattered like glass. The jewels released a gas containing their memories and emotions, which entered Benny and the Ice Warrior Grand Marshall Sstac.
