Tish Jones serving as a PR agent. (TV: The Lazarus Experiment)

PR or public relations was the business of marketing a company or person. (PROSE: Defining Patterns) Jilly Kitzinger was a PR guru who enjoyed difficult marketing challenges — such as the job of turning convicted murderer Oswald Danes into a sympathetic character after his Kentucky-ordered lethal injection failed to work.

Some of the tasks of a PR person, at least as exemplified by Kitzinger, were to book their clients on chat shows and arrange live public events. Danes despaired of her services, though, and once joked the Devil would employ a PR person should he "walk the Earth". (TV: Rendition)

Tish Jones was also in public relations. She variously helped Lazarus Laboratories (TV: The Lazarus Experiment) and the government of Harold Saxon (TV: The Sound of Drums) project their chosen images to the outside world. One of her key functions when working for Richard Lazarus was to arrange the party thrown to unveil the Lazarus de-ageing machine. (TV: The Lazarus Experiment)

Emily Chaudhry was once head of public relations at UNIT. (PROSE: Defining Patterns)

Broderick Naismith was the Chief Public Relations Officer at the Braxiatel Collection. (PROSE: Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Doomsday Manuscript)
