Hur of the Dancing Flame was the mate of Za, leader of the Tribe of Gum, circa 100,000 BC.

Hur was the daughter of Horg, one of the old men of the Tribe of Gum. As a woman, Hur was to be the mate of whomever her father chose to give her to. She loved Za, the son of the Firemaker.
She stood by Za even as he struggled to maintain leadership over the tribe against the outsider Kal after his father's death.
