Ileana de Santos was a loups-garoux, a type of Earth-bound werewolf. She who had a brief romantic interest in the Fifth Doctor.
Originally a merchant's daughter, Ileana was transformed into a werewolf in 1812, by the notorious killer Pieter Stubbe.
By 2080, Ileana and her pack were living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The de Santos family maintained a sprawling ranch in the country, accessible by a private train.
