Adrienne Corri (born 13 November 1931 in Glasgow, died 13 March 2016 in London[1]) played Mena in the Doctor Who television story The Leisure Hive.
She was subsequently considered for the role of Queen Katryca in The Mysterious Planet.[2]

Corri may be most notorious for her role as Mrs Alexander in the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange; her other film credits include The Viking Queen, the film Patrick Troughton was working on when he was approached for the role of the Second Doctor.
Her numerous television credits include regular roles in A Family at War and You're Only Young Twice. She guest starred in two episodes of Lovejoy.
From 1961 to 1967, she was married to Daniel Massey. An expert on 18th century painters, she was also the author of a book on Thomas Gainsborough.
