Bok was a Dæmon creature that had been asleep for many thousand of years until he was awoken by the dig at [[Devil's End]] and [[The Master]]'s cult ritual. Afterwards he was used by the Master to gain control of the local village and resist any attack. After the Master was defeated and [[Azal]] and his spaceship was destroyed, Bok went back to being a gargoyle statue becoming dormant again.
