While Amy was relaxing with him in Central Park, the Doctor used her glasses to read, saying he could see better with them. They actually improved his eyesight, (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan) rather than being used for mere cosmetic reasons, like both the Fifth Doctor's and the Tenth Doctor's glasses. (TV: Time Crash)
