He took Ian's sword and money but woke Ian. The two fought over Ian's sword. Ian was gaining the upper hand but was attacked from behind by the bandit's brother Ibrahim. Ibrahim later told Ian that the bandit had taken Ian's horse. (TV: The Crusade)
