*I've been thinking about it. They pretty much said that this is where he died. They kept talking about him changing the future here so he didn't die. Until its shown that this is a different battle, we can safely assume its the right one since it matches the prophecy. As for him being worried about changing the future, technically the other Time Lords did, not him. Another clue is what Clara said in The Name of the Doctor: she tells the Doctor she only saw 11 faces and then the War Doctor at the end. If he'd survived to another battle on Trenzalore then there would've been at least one more, the Twelfth Doctor because the battle made him regenerate.--WarGrowlmon18 ☎ 04:00, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

The Doctor's Deathedit source

That was in an alternate timeline. It was specifically stated several times that the Doctor's survival was changing the future.--WarGrowlmon18 01:11, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

The Doctor survived, so the whole Great Intelligence issue didn't happen, but since that's the case, did the Intelligence' s fate change? I mean, those 300 years of villains waiting bored over the planet, they killed the Doctor in a now alternate timeline, what happens about the whole Name of the Doctor episode? Camjosh9 06:41, December 28, 2013 (UTC)

Camjosh makes a valid point. The events may be in the planets future but are in the Doctor's and Clara's and Vastra's pasts.

The Doctor often has shown concern about changing personal histories including his own e.g.on Gallifrey on the last day of the Time War when he thought his otherself was suggesting changing the course of events.

So there remains a good chance that the Tomb and other future (future, from the planet's POV) events will still happen.

I have not seen any evidence posted that events have been changed. I will change the article to reflect this.

If you believe that there are events or lines that prop up the idea of a change to the Planet's Future/Character's Pasts. Please post them here (with episode time index references) here so the subject can be discussed and agreed upon before any further changes are made.
