So, in Listen, there's a huge walking McGuffin under the covers. It's out of focus in the corner of one shot, but it's there, and it did move the covers in front of everyone's eyes. On a side note, the idea of "Listen" seems to recall the theme of "Silence," and the Doctor does explicitly mention the "silence at the end of the universe." It's appropriate that you've mentioned the Silence as a side note, because I actually think it might have been a Silent (probably a very young one) under the covers. For a start, when the creature drops the sheet, it may be out of focus but it looks kind of like a Silent. Also hiding under a bedsheet would be a good idea for a Silent that wants to be remembered.
