The dimensional shift bomb was a type of bomb which, as described by the Twelfth Doctor, sent particles to a different plane.
A dimensional shift bomb was left in a safety-deposit box in the Bank of Karabraxos to be used by the Doctor, Clara Oswald, Psi, and Saibra, who had been sent to rob the bank. When they planted it on the floor, the bomb detonated and blew a hole which allowed the team to reach the service corridors below. The particles were then quickly reconstituted, repairing the hole in the floor as the guards arrived. (TV: Time Heist)
