Pavel Fedorin was a friend of Lena Korolev, and rescued her, the Fifth Doctor and Turlough. He told the Doctor about the feral dog and cat attacks that had happened. He tried to find information of the Doctor and saw pictures of his many incarnations. The Doctor tried to save him from being buried alive in a collapsing building, but his injuries were too severe.
