Elbyon was a nation on the planet Avalon. It had an ocean to its northwest and the Circle Sea to its south and east. In the 30th century, Glazebry was the capital city and the seat of the ruler of Elbyon, Magnus III. The nation was divided into four Shares, one of which was known as the South Share, of which Fluxford was the capital. Raven's Tor was located in the west of Elbyon. In the north of Elbyon were Thule and Borea. Barbara Wright, while studying the history of Avalon, deduced that Elbyon was a corrupted form of "Albion", which was the old name for Britain.
