Dr. Meredith was frequently called in by the Wenley Moor nuclear research facility.
He took care of Spencer in the facility's sickbay when the young technician succumbed to race memories of Silurians, and gave him a marker pen to draw pictures of Silurians and other creatures on the wall of his room. (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians)
