A Vaspan space-time stamp was capable of sending an attached package to any point in time and space. Time Lords banned the devices on their native Gallifrey. According to the Seventh Doctor, it was more expensive than a planet. UNIT found one such stamp in the Forge. Ace thought it was "not much to look at". At least the one they found worked on a single-use hop drive, and therefore only be used a grand total of one time.
