Alexander Lullington-Smythe was a human theatrical agent on Earth. When he met the Gods of the Latter-Day Pantheon in April 1965, he offered to help introduce them to the public.
He wrote a book about his experiences entitled How I Saved the World. It was published by Aphrodite Press in 1976. The book served as the basis for the 1980 science fiction film Prey for a Miracle starring Peter Cushing as "the mysterious government adviser, Doctor Who", a character loosely based on the First Doctor.
