Vignor was the leader of a tribe of humans.
He and his men attacked the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot, wounding Jamie, but the travellers were rescued by Bior and his men.
Vignor and his men later attacked Bior's village, killing several people, including Bior's son. Bior and his warriors transformed into bears and attacked Vignor's village, killing Vignor and several others.
