Gabrielle Govier was a 20th century French girl. She was kidnapped and brainwashed by the Recruiter to fight in its war on Q'ell.
Gabrielle was made the pilot of a plane. When it was shot down, the mind-controlled Bernice Summerfield resisted the impulse to kill her. The conflict made her lose consciousness, and Gabrielle took her to a trench to recover, though she did not understand why.
When they searched later, they realised the war was actually pointless. They found the native Q'ell, who captured them. Gabrielle was killed and processed for food. (PROSE: Toy Soldiers)
