John Lumic's wheelchair was used by its eponymous owner as a primary means of short-distance transportation.

Additionally, there were doses of medication which would be taken intravenously. Betraying his boss, Mr Crane severely damaged the life-support systems. Inadvertently, Lumic made his Cybermen aware of the fact he was in pain, and the latter judged him as unfit to carry on living in human form, thus promptly had him converted into the Cyber-Controller. After conversion, the wheelchair was presumably incinerated along with Lumic's body. (TV: The Age of Steel [+]Loading...["The Age of Steel (TV story)"])
