Lawrence Fitzgerald was an archaeology professor.
He was a friend of the Seventh Doctor, who had helped him with problems with the Egyptian government. The Doctor went to him to find out more about the Great Temple of Tenochtitlan. The Blue made him try to kill Bernice Summerfield when they were going to learn too much, so Benny had to kill him in self defence. (PROSE: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)
