A coachman in 1651 was the driver of Lucie Fanshawe's carriage. Whilst out on a journey, the Fanshawes' carriage was robbed by the notorious highwayman known as the Knightmare. The coachman encouraged Lucie and her husband, Mr Fanshawe, to hand over whatever the Knightmare asked of them, having heard of the criminal's previous escapades. However, the robbery was interruped by the Twelfth Doctor, and while the Knightmare was distracted, the coachman drove away, allowing the Fanshawes and himself to escape. (TV: The Woman Who Lived)
