Short story collections[[edit source]]

I just came across Wildthyme on Top (novel) (ooh, er!), which is misnamed — the book is a short story collection, not a novel. I was going to move it, but I didn't know whether a) it really needed a disambiguation term, or b) if it did, what term it should have. "Wildthyme on Top (short story collection)" seems needlessly wordy, and the other Iris anthologies (Iris Wildthyme and the Celestial Omnibus, et al.) don't have any dab terms. I wasn't sure whether that was deliberate or an oversight. What's the policy on this? —Josiah Rowe talk to me 03:29, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

Dab list in need of update[[edit source]]

After looking over this list, I noticed at least two dab terms that have been left off (perhaps put into use after the list was made?) that I think should be added: the Doctor Who Extra (DWE) dab and the (anthology) dab. Mewiet 03:31, September 18, 2015 (UTC)

And (webcast). Mewiet 06:05, September 18, 2015 (UTC)
Regarding the (anthology) dab, the following discussion seems relevant Thread:185295. Amorkuz 09:08, December 29, 2015 (UTC)
Also I would propose to extend the explanation for (home video) dab by electronic releases, such as iTunes, Amazon, BBC Store and the like. Amorkuz 09:08, December 29, 2015 (UTC)

'(trailer)'[[edit source]]

I believe '(trailer)' is also a commonly used dab term, such as in category:Teasers and trailers. Could it be added to the list? Cookieboy 2005 21:07, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

I believe the use of "(trailer)" has now been ruled against at Forum:Temporary forums/Trailers — some of the pages just haven't been updated yet…
