Slooks were supposedly legendary spacegoing creatures. Oli Pelhedly had a theory that they lived outside time and only appeared in the universe at random moments.
Pelhedly hired The Klicklighter to help him in his search for a Slook. He wished to prove that they really existed. Captain Luisa and Alex Voorspuy conspired to catch a Slook, but when they did so, time froze. (PROSE: The Hunting of the Slook)
