Since this is a wiki, I have to assume this would be quite easy; there is a page on the wiki for every single issue of doctor who magazine. The page lists all of the content within that issue. However, this could still be more organised. For example, if someone wanted to look up a particular DWM feature or review, they could search for that, or look up the subject of the review and find out which issue of DWM it was reviewed in. Perhaps an entirely new wiki could be made for reference of DWM features, reviews and comic strips so that single features can be looked up easily.

:Well, there is a DWM comic strips page already. Are you talking about individual articles for features; reviews; interviews; free gifts (like the DWA page) - which might include CDs whether they be BFA, music, or interviews; pin-ups; fact files; gag comics (besides Doctor Who?); prose stories (besides Brief Encounter); or something else? If you wanted something more ambitious like what the Doctor Who (DVD) Special Features Index has with its categories, the Doctor Who Collectors Wiki might be a better fit. ––Nyktimos 02:26, April 18, 2011 (UTC)

The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.98.55.183 (talk • contribs) .

Well, there is a DWM comic strips page already.
I agree with the original poster. Ultimately, there really should be at least an index page for the major continuous articles in DWM. It should be possible to go to an article about the Time Team, for instance. Or to one that tells you which issue had an in-depth feature in which television story. Or whatever. There are a lot of regular features in DWM, and we're not really giving any sort of organised coverage of them. I disagree that we should just be fobbing off this sort of detailed coverage onto the Collectors' Wiki. If we're going to cover DWM, then let's do it properly.

The magazine CDs page also already exists Doctor Who Magazine CDs.
I don't think this needs to be shoved off to another wiki, as we've got, as the original poster implies a lot of the information here, if it were on another wiki there'd need to be a lot of duplication or inter-wiki linking.
We'd need to work out how a page like this would work though, one main page to list all of the features with individual pages linking away, or one main page with sub-pages going off from it, or some other method. Sub-pages have the benefit of us not needing to disambiguate further (as some DWM features were/are puns on DW stuff), but if you start with a long article name linking away with a sub-page which also has a long name leaves something like this Doctor Who Magazine/The Official Doctor Who Magazine, which gives you a fairly long title at the top of the page. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:00, April 18, 2011 (UTC)

"... if someone wanted to look up a particular DWM feature or review, they could search for that, or look up the subject of the review and find out which issue of DWM it was reviewed in. Perhaps an entirely new wiki could be made" - First Poster

"Are you talking about individual articles for ... ? ... If you wanted something more ambitious like what the Doctor Who (DVD) Special Features Index has with its categories ..." -Me

"I disagree that we should just be fobbing off this sort of detailed coverage onto the Collectors' Wiki." - Czechout

The first poster didn't specify what he wanted implemented. Since he talked about a new wiki I felt it sound to ask him to clarify. While articles would be reasonable for us to implement we probably wouldn't go the route of the insane categorisation that the Special Features Index or the more templated Marvel Comics Database has. --Nyktimos 19:22, April 18, 2011 (UTC)
