The Magician's Nephew was a novel by C. S. Lewis which had been published by the 1990s.
The book was Jason Kane's favourite as a child and he often found comfort in it, identifying with the character of Digory and wanting to have a girlfriend like Polly. His copy was stolen in a mugging on Denaria VII. (PROSE: Eternity Weeps)
There was a copy of the book in the Prison's library. It survived the fire that took place there. Library keeper, Lafcardio, was killed in the library while reading it.
