When the TARDIS landed on a planet, called "worthless rock" by the Sontarans, Strock took the Fifth Doctor and his companions into their bunker after capturing them outside the TARDIS. The planet was in fact an outpost in the Rutan-Sontaran War, and Strock had produced a plan to charge the Rutans be killed gloriously in the process.
