Kasper was a 19th century French cat-burglar who was also an agent of the Shadow Directory.
While investigating Brother Tomas' death with Chris Cwej and Anton Jarre, they discovered a secret passage to an underground laboratory. During their descent, a psychic trap was triggered that transformed Kasper into a monster who attacked the others. Jarre killed him by firing a gun at him which disrupted psychic power.
