Dennis Hooper was an editor for TV Action and wrote the comic strips Gemini Plan, Timebenders and *Sub Zero for the publication. As noted in the letter to the editor section of one issue, Dennis had a small cameo in the comic The Celluloid Midas as one of the petrified plastic BBC crew members, named Franklin Hughes.
