Richard Leech (24 November 1922-24 March 2004[1]) played Gatherer Hade in the Doctor Who television story The Sun Makers.

Leech originally trained as a doctor at Trinity College, Dublin.[2] His stage work included The Lady's Not for Burning on the West End and Broadway, and the Noël Coward play Relative Values.
On television, he played Mr Rochester in the 1963 BBC Jane Eyre. He is best remembered for stints in The Gold Robbers and The Doctors.
