The Charles University in Prague, also known as Univerzita Karlova, (PROSE: Leap Second) and simply as the University of Prague, was a university located in Prague. (PROSE: The Long Step Backward)

The university was founded in 1348 by Emperor Charles IV.
In the 15th century, Jan Ondrejuv was a professor of mathematics and astronomy at the university.
Later, the famed scientists Johannes Kepler and Tycho Brahe studied there.
Albert Einstein was a professor of theoretical physics at Charles from 1911-12.
