I'm not actually sure that these guys qualify as hosts. Note that they have not been put in [[:Category:Human hosts]]. The way Vashta Nerada worked was by killing the human, removing the flesh completely and moving the space suit. They did not inhabit the body of the human. Yes, they used the voice, but this was, I think, more of a device related than the body possession.
