if he doesn't go off and travel with the Doctor at the end of the story, he probably doesn't count as a companion. (at least one companion, [[Liz Shaw]] also didn't travel in the TARDIS, but have worked as his full-time assistant in a few stories. besides which the Doctor couldn't travel at the time.) does he end up doing that? --[[User:Stardizzy2|Stardizzy2]] 19:17, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
