The Secrets of the Tardis was a comic story in Kenner's Give-a-Show Projector series of comic stories. The story is notable for being the first in the franchise's history to attempt to directly explain how the TARDIS is bigger on the inside.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Doctor explains how the TARDIS works to Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
Outside the Doctor's TARDIS, Barbara asks the Doctor how such a large control room can fit inside a small call box. Taking his companions inside, the Doctor explains that the TARDIS box is just an entrance chamber to a fourth dimension. A reversal of time acceleration occurs at the inner door. Therefore, all but the box is invisible to the outside world. By careful control the crew can then travel through space time and meet up with countless adventures.
