Brooks was a rebel Tabbalac who wished to put an end to his people's violent ways. Brooks owned a casino boat with warp drive. He used his profits, which he used Lish's powers to ensure, to fund his research. He wanted to hand his technology to the Cyrox, his people's viral enemies to ensure they stopped fighting.
