Mark Thorne was a chef. He was not very kind to the people who worked for him.
One day he ended up in the TARDIS and lost consciousness. When he woke up, he left the TARDIS to find himself on an alien planet. Aliens, the Shev, were threatening the Fifth Doctor and Vislor Turlough. Mark headed in the other direction and met two Shev, Trawets and Syhr. For some time he cooked for them, but then they made him part of their hunt.
