The Century Program was a project funded by multinational conglomerates. Its objective was to establish human colonies to address overcrowding on Earth. Begun in the year 2100, it would ultimately seed about a dozen separate outposts, and initiate what some called the Colonial Age. The Sixth Doctor and Grant Markham watched one of its constituent vessels, the New Hope, depart Mars bound for Agora. (PROSE: Killing Ground)
