Captain Michael Brookes was a member of the British military and engineer.
He was chief engineer in Colonel Wilson's regiment when it went to check the structural integrity of a recently built dam in Middletown. He sacrificed himself to save Wilson from Sir William Grant, who had been turned into one of the fire elemental's minions. (PROSE: The Burning)
